Legend has truly been our dream dog. He is exactly what we were looking for in a Leonberger and more.
He was bred in Sweden by Petra Hogberg and we thank her so much for breeding such a wonderful dog and
allowing such a special boy to come into our lives and touch our hearts the way he has with his beautiful soul.
Legend has THE most stable temperament I've ever seen on any dog in my life. He is truly a dream dog!
His movement is as smooth and steady as his temperament, his conformation is very nice with his proper angulation,
gorgeous coat and great topline, he truly is a wonderful example of the Leonberger breed.
Legend started his show career with some major wins as a puppy, taking two back to back Best in Show Puppy wins from the Rare Heirs club shows and he only got better with age. He is also the winner of the Leonberger Club of America's National Specialty Foreign Bred Class 2004. Once matured he finished his championship quite easily with the help of our friend Judy Johnston who has handled him to all of his points. Legend is CERF, OFA Good, Elbows, Patellas and Thyroid normal. Legend is no longer at stud, he is enjoying retirement. Check out his daughter Deja,
she is following in his footsteps. She took a BISS and a five point major her first time in the ring at only 7 months old.
